Badger watching

The Audrey Randall Hide at Tewin
NOW CLOSED UNTIL MARCH

The hide at Tewin Orchard

The Audrey Randall Hide is a purpose built facility near Tewin Orchard. It was opened in 2006 by our patron and warden of the reserve, Michael Clark. There is every possibility that you will see badgers as the sett is just across the field in neighbouring woodland and is home to more than ten badgers. You are also likely to see foxes, muntjac deer and owls, as well as a variety of wildlife in natural surroundings.

How to Book :

Booking normally opens at the beginning of March and closes by the end of October as fireworks can reduce the number of badgers seen.

Watches start around sunset, and normally last about 2 hours: joining details will be sent after a booking is confirmed.

Our group books the hide for members instead of our meetings in the hall in June, July, August and September.

To book the hide on other evenings please read our Guidance to Watchers and our Terms and Conditions then email Tewinhide@gmail.com
